Shaw Island School District #10​

Ask any Shaw Islander and they will tell you that they consider themselves lucky to live on their beautiful island in the Salish Sea. Despite a population of only 240 full-time residents, Shaw Island is a busy place. Shaw Island has no public dock, gas station, doctor, restaurant, or traffic light; but where the island falls short on amenities, it is big on community events.

Rarely a week goes by without multiple events in our Community Center: yoga, music, educational opportunies, guest speakers, Sunday church services, senior dinners, and the list continues. 

Aside from the Community Center, we have a new ballfield, a County Park with a beautiful sandy beach and rustic camping, and an island-funded Library and Historical Society.

Shaw Islanders, Inc. helps to improve life in the community through the efforts of volunteers and generous donations of Shaw residents.
